I want to share my recent experience with the company behind the Deebot T9+ vacuum robot. It has been really frustrating and disappointing, and I think it's important to let others know about the company's policies and the product's poor performance.
I bought the Deebot T9+ on May 5th, hoping for a good quality vacuum robot that would make my life easier. But after using it only a few times, I realized that this unit is not working as it should, especially considering its high price. Here are the many problems I faced:
Self-Cleaning Station Doesn't Work: The Deebot T9+ is supposed to have a self-cleaning feature that gets rid of pet hairs. But it doesn't actually do that, so I have to manually clean the robot every 2-5 days. It's frustrating because the self-cleaning station is basically useless.
Wrong Recommendations: When I contacted customer service at their store on Veiverių g. 63, they told me to buy a cleaning solution liquid for better mopping. But it turned out that the cleaning solution was meant for another robot, and I was told not to use it. This caused the robot to leave marks on my floor while mopping.
Problems with Navigation: The Deebot T9+ has trouble finding its charging station in my small three-bedroom apartment. It also doesn't clean corners well and misses areas that are clearly marked on the map.
Maintenance Hassles: If you want to clean your carpets, you have to change cleaning cartridges, which is inconvenient and costly. They didn't mention this when I bought the robot.
Considering the high price of almost 600 EUR, I was very disappointed that the Deebot T9+ performed worse than cheaper robots that cost around 200 EUR. So I decided to contact their customer service for help.
But dealing with their customer service was really frustrating. The representatives didn't seem to understand or care about the problems I had. Instead of trying to help, their suggested solution was simply awful.
They told me to bring the defective robot to them, and they would assess its value and try to sell it. Then they offered me only a small percentage of the sale as compensation. I find it hard to believe that a company would try to make money from a faulty product and offer such an unhelpful solution to an unhappy customer.
This kind of business practice should not be tolerated. Selling low-quality products, giving wrong recommendations, and then trying to profit from unhappy customers is not acceptable. I'm extremely disappointed with this whole experience and have decided to replace the Deebot T9+ with a more reliable option.
I hope that by sharing this review, other potential customers will be aware of the risks of buying from this company. Their customer service is poor, their products don't live up to their promises, and their suggested solutions are unsatisfactory and opportunistic.
Please consider other options when looking for a vacuum robot, as this company has shown a lack of honesty and a disregard for customer satisfaction.
